No more senior a body than ACPOS said in 2011 that the majority of race crime is againsat the BME population and is perpetrated by white individuals. As we continually say racism is racism is racism regardless of it being perpeyrated white on white or black on black - a fact David Cameron is underlining today. So we have written in our blog – if you care to look – about the growing issue of white on white racism; the issue of racism in recent debates on independence against the Scots; the issue of racism against Irish Gypsy Travellers; the issue of racism and its role in gangs (of mixed racial identities) in grooming young girls and children and so on. However as over 90% of all recorded racist crime is perpetrated by someone who is white then mathematicaly there are more incidents to comment on. Hope this clarifies things.
